Laura Sutherland-Brown, semi-transformation playing cards.  These first edition cards, with a limited production of 3000, were sold through the New Yorker Magazine circa 1977. The Laura Sutherland copyrighted designs are unique and enchanting. Hidden in the card faces are "stories, puns, and other delights", and a hint card is included as a guide in finding these hidden treasures. 

There are 52 cards, two jokers, and the hint card. Each card measures approx. 102 x 72 mm, and are in their original box (left above).
