Las Dos Torres: Clemente Jacques y Cia
Las Dos Torres, produced by Clemente Jacques y Cia in Mexico, is based on the Spanish ' Catalan' pattern. The paper wrapper says the design was registered in 1923.
The name and symbolic motifs, two towers and a lion, were derived from cards originally made by the Barcelona cardmaker Torras y Lleó. See 'World of Playing Cards' here for more information
