Piacentine: Vindobona  No. 60   1946

One of the regional patterns of Italy, the Piacentine, from Piacenza, a city and comune in the Emilia-Romagna region of northern Italy. Vindobona was situated in Fucecchio, a town and comune of the province of Firenze, and published playing cards until the 1950's.

The tax stamps on the one of coins date the cards. There are 4 different stamps on the card. When the tax was increased and the cards had not yet been sold they were restamped with the new tax stamp.

The first is in the centre reading "lire venti" which was used from 1943 to 1946. The second is the linear stamp at the top reading April 1947. On the side is a stamp dated 12/12/1955. The round stamp at the bottom is probably the last and reads "Uffizio del Registro/ Pistoia".
